Where has the time gone?????

Our lives have been full, Eric and I try really hard to make sure that we are not missing out on any adventures.
Oct. We celebrated Halloween at a friends party, I dressed as Maleficent and Eric went as Rust Cohle. It was a fun time wearing costumes and partying with our friends. GSEC where CJ goes to school, hosted a Trunk-or-Treat event and the kids dressed as a Pirate, CJ, and a skeleton, Emilie. Super cute! We all got dressed up for trick-or-treating and the kiddos looked adorable. Emilie was Princess Aurora, a.k.a. Sleeping Beauty, and CJ went as Batman.

Nov. I was able to slip away and attend the NAGC which was held in Baltimore this year! Great savings on travel costs, but I did miss my kiddos in a bad way. I was a host for a action-lab at the American Visionary Art Museum where we had a fantastic tour. If you are ever in Baltimore looking for an interesting museum to visit please check them out! Amazing things! Then we ventured to the Mid-West for our annual Thanksgiving Tour.

Dec. Life as usual we went about our daily grind. This year we stayed home and the Meyers came to visit and spend a couple of days with us for Christmas. What a great time we had having them visit us! Eric and I didn't want to take Emilie on a flight and ask her to tag along and be happy about it.
Emilie began to dabble in walking.

Jan. Emilie becomes an expert in walking. Colin began soccer practice where he focused on skills. Coach Molly said he was on point, has great potential. Guess we will focus on giving him soccer opportunities to develop his skills. He is also doing swimming lessons, again. Same level, and at the end of the sessions he was not able to pass out of the level.

Feb.-HAPPY BIRTHDAY Colin and Emilie! Colin turned 5 and we celebrated with a big party at A Family Place to Play. It was a wonderful place to have a birthday party, seemed seemless the way the staff helped to support the party. Wonderful job! Colin got to play with his buddies, learned about the song "Who let the dogs out?" and had a Transformers themed party with cake and pizza. Emilie invited some of her friends too. We then had a very intimate first birthday celebration at home. Princess themed.

March-Emilie is now working on running. She uses several words in sign language: More, Please, Milk. She also uses the words: banana, dog (Dah) (Dahgie), Dad (Dada), Mommy (Mah). She has been having a lot of ear infections back to back, not really seeing healing in between the medications. Referred to a specialist, ENT and we go April 29th to see if she needs tubes. Started CJ in Kids First Swim School, hoping the smaller class size will allow him opportunity to develop his skills. Practices for Tee Ball began. He is trying out CCYL and was placed on the XTBall Orioles Team, Go Birds! We left for Spring Break and celebrated Easter in Myrtle Beach.

My goal will be to attempt more frequent updates as possible!
