Videos of October 2011
*Eric is not happy about Colin walking around in these red shoes. I think it is really funny!
October has come and gone, here is what we did.
Our month began with a birthday celebration for TJ!
Next, Margie Lou left us to hopefully raise some money for Vehicles for Change.
Then CJ and I headed to Indianapolis for my friend Rebecca (Berfanger) Mellentine's wedding. It was a lovely ceremony in a beautiful church. The reception was at the Indianapolis Art Center complete with mini-desserts and a photo booth!
Boiler Up, cheering on our Boilermakers that weekend.
Our next adventure was a trip to the NOVA Brewfest which we attend regularly. We were able to meet up with Annie and Nolan Walton. Everyone had a blast. The weather was nice too! I love fall!
(No beer in the cup while he was playing with it.)
We then met up with Jenifer Garcia and her daughter Arianna and drove down to Bowles Farm, which we went to last year with the Wackerles.
Playing around in the Corn Box!
Jumping in the hay!
Finding our way through the maze.
Eric started his costume last weekend, and he spent a lot of time down there spray painting and making adjustments.
We headed out to a Halloween Party, and he won best costume again! Last time we went to the party he was Beaker and won the contest.
Colin found my "Dorothy" shoes and would not give them up until I let him wear them around. Hopefully he won't hate me later when he is older. :)
Eric wanted to document the aftermath of the costume construction. I think he is considering going big and trying to win a contest with money as the prize. I will post again later with our costumes of the past and tonight! Happy Halloween and have fun tricking or treating!

Additional Pictures from September
These pictures are in reverse order. The first picture is us coming home from visiting with the Strzyz family for the memorial of Dr. Robert Strzyz. Previously we we spent some time visiting Joe, Cyndi, and Gabriela in Long Island, NY. We had a picnic at a park and attempted to fly kites, CJ loved the balsa plane and wanted his kite to get up as high as Gabby's did, he was dragging his kite around like Linus and his security blanket. Super cute. The kiddos are playing on the playground in Central Park. We all enjoyed a filling meal at Carmine's. It was a nice time visiting with them, as usual. This month my family lost Grandpa Chase September 20th and his military burial was October 3rd, Dr. William G. Chase, 91 years with 9 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren (CJ included).
