Surprise Birthday Weekend Visit

So sorry that I forgot to update you all on the surprise visit and party for Grandma and Grandpa Chase!
The visit started with Thursday flying out in the evening, late night for CJ.  Friday drop the kiddo off at Cousin Gina's house and all the ladies head to the spa.  What a lovely treat at Lumiere Spa!  Friday night we took Dad out to see Safe House and really enjoyed the thriller.  Saturday we hung out until the dinner plans, which actually consisted of the party!  I was able to get Mom and Dad at Macaroni Grill where we had these wonderful people waiting!

Loves Balloons!

Cupcakes from The Flying Cupcake!
Then Sunday we hung out and made the trek to the airport and had lunch before we had to say goodbye.  It was a great visit, and it makes us long to live a little closer.
Till next time Grandma and Grandpa Chase

Had a lovely weekend visit with Gramma Meyer and Aunt Anna.  Eric and I went to Shamrock Fest at RFK Saturday.  After the 'Fest' we ended up hanging out with Jeff, Jessica, and Brielle Doroh.  So nice to see friends that have moved away and keep in touch.  Everyone watched 'The Debt' and it was an interesting story and a break from some of the crap Hollywood keeps pumping out.  Update on Colin: He is majorly enthralled with Tow Mater from Cars, Cars2.  (Thanks Connor Wackerle and Mom and Dad) ;)  He is a very busy boy and still super inquisitive.
Additionally Matt and Angie welcomed Evan Donald Kennedy into the world yesterday, I am trying to get my hand on a plane ticket so I can visit them asap.
This week will be short and then we travel to Myrtle Beach, SC for Spring Break!

Date Night with the Wackerles, started at the Catoctin Creek Distillery and then we headed out to the Lost Rhino Brewery.  A long afternoon and evening, but well worth it!

Speed Demon

Love for Mommy!
Time is flying and it is extremely difficult for me to stay on top of things.  Work wise we are preparing for MSA, the standardized state assessment.  I'm  super busy with that before, during, and after school.  On the school front things are plugging along.  I am now enrolled in my third to last class, thankfully I am on track for my June finish so I can keep my certification with the State of Maryland.  Socially we manage to keep our calendar packed full of activities.  Colin's new classroom is full of very busy and active 2-3 year olds and he works hard to keep up with them.  He really likes his teachers!  Eric is busy at work with the title and role of "acting manager", supervision and management is a whole different ball game then being a subordinate.  I am sure he will do fine!  Out here he has been trying to "catch" the yellow perch run and it seems to have eluded all fishermen in this area, now the white perch have begun their run up north.  This non-winter must have confused the yellow perch.  Don't fret about Eric, he did catch a rainbow trout and he makes sure he gets out to cast a bit each day.

Pictures are here!  I'll try to add more of an explanation of our adventures.
