Still going strong with Tee Ball, CJ seems to enjoy it so we keep going. His batting is improving, his team needs to work on their fielding skills.

Mother's Day-Sunday May 11th
Eric bought a lovely arrangement of tulips and we all went to Flag Ponds Beach. It was a little dicey at first when we arrived, Emilie started to fuss and cry. I thought she was hungry and wasn't getting enough to eat but in reality she just wanted to be put down for a nap and left alone. She slept for 2 hours. This little lady LOVES her sleep and she doesn't need any one to hold her, rock her, or cuddle her to sleep. There are times where I am sad that she doesn't want/need her Mommy to rock her to sleep but then it is nice Eric and I have some time together in the evenings after she goes to sleep.
After she woke from her nap on the beach I took her to the water and dipped her tiny piggies in the water. She was quiet and then erupted in a distressed cry because it was too cold! Her big brother reacted the same way when he first went to the beach. We had a great time together. CJ got a lot of Mommy and Daddy time on the beach playing beach ball and looking for shark teeth. On our way home we stopped for a sweet treat before dinner, YUMMY! First of the season, I had root beer float with the root beer ice and vanilla custard. Eric then made dinner for us, shrimp with burgers and sweet potato fries.
