Summer until now....

We have been very busy I will try to recap. June we participated in the Tour de Fat in DC and had a lot of fun! After my school year ended I worked a little bit on a STEM Project for the next school year. Then I spent the rest of the time before we left for the Midwest lounging and relaxing at home trying to beat the heat. We packed up our SUV and headed to Centerville (South of Dayton), OH to see the Wackers. It was really great hanging out with them. Grant gave Colin his hot wheels bike with no training wheels, CJ is a bit nervous so we are practicing. After the stop in Ohio we drove to Indianapolis to see the Chase family. Had a good time we took in the zoo and then traveled to Peoria, IL to visit with Great Grandpa Alberti and Aunt Laura. We visited the Peoria zoo and Spalshdown Waterpark. When that visit was over my parents drove Colin and I up to meet Eric. We shopped for fireworks then continued our trip to LaGrange. While in the Chicagoland area we went to some parks, saw a Chicago White Sox v. Baltimore Orioles game, met Ayla Gordon, and finished our trip with a trek into the city. While seeing Aunt Anna's house we went to the Lincoln Zoo and then out for dinner. After we returned from our Midwest Tour Colin took his second swim class, PreSchool 2. He has some skills he needs to develop, but he is doing fabulously for a 3 year old. We have also had some adventures meeting up with our friends for a trip to the water park and aquarium. This weekend we are headed to Virginia Beach where we will meet up with the Meyer Family for fun in the sun. I am going to try to do better by this blog. See you soon!

What we have been doing... Things have been busy so I haven't had a lot of time to update everyone. (sorry month of April) We have been enjoying some fun with CJ! He is growing up so fast! We love hanging out with him. He is really into baseball and golfing out back with dad. We are excited to take in a few more baseball games this season all over the place! Lately he has been taking swim lessons and he is enjoying them. Working on the basic skills and arm movements with kicking and breathing. He is a super star in my eyes! Eric bought some clippers so I gave CJ his first home haircut. It wasn't a fun time getting through the cut but the end results didn't look too bad. I might be able to pull this off. Maybe start a new business. hehe I heard back that my proposal paper was good so now I just need to research and improve my ideas for my final due July 6th. Then I will be done with my Masters, but still working on my admin. 1 certification. Eric just celebrated his birthday and we had some quality family time. I am so eager to start this summer! Just want some time off to clear my mind and take care of me! Hope everyone is well! Love, Amanda

Spring Time Fun!

We have had a lot of fun playing with friends, creative and imaginative play in the NEW oven/stovetop box, baseball practice, bike riding, and celebrating Connor Wackerle's birthday.  Eric and I are getting ready for our trip sans CJ, we will miss him but really enjoy our time in paradise!  Hoping everyone enjoys their spring breaks!
