Week 14 (exactly) Doctor Visit
What a great visit today! Things went quickly! I was greeted by Dr. Riley who told me I looked good, she probably says that to all newer moms. She then commended me on working out and suggested I make sure I am safe about working out. They confirmed that my blood type is B+, no anemia, no other issues the blood work would have identified. Towards the end she used the Doppler and I got to hear the heartbeat, how exhilarating! I recorded it, so if there is anyone who would like to hear the proof, I am totally willing to share! Thanks for your support and prayers, and after my mom yelled at me I will be taking it a bit easier from now on. My next appointment is scheduled for my birthday, hopefully Eric will accompany me and we can celebrate my b-day with a night out! Hugs and Kisses, Amanda

Thanks for the Support!
Took the rest of the weekend "off" and spent a great deal resting. Spoke with the Nurse today and she said nothing to worry about, everything seems normal. I am still on for Wed. afternoon appointment. I will post any new information found out from the visit. Thanks again for your concern and support. I am having a difficult time understanding the actual limits of my changing body. Pray for me that I can figure this out. Take care, A

Prayers for Baby Meyer and Me
Just wanted to post about the need of support. I am having a tough weekend and would appreciate any prayers, good vibes, and positive thoughts sent my way. Physically I am in some pain, hopefully nothing serious. Seems to be in the abdominal area with a dull sensation that flairs up when I become active. Keeping a watch on things, if things worsen we will take a trip to the Hospital. Waiting patiently for the Dr. visit Wed. Thanks for your support.

First Post
Just starting out on my journey to blog about what is happening in the lives of Amanda, Eric, Rufus, and Baby Meyer. So far things have been going swell, no real big complaints. I am anxiously awaiting more 'signs' of the actual human growing inside. Eric and I are still cramming all of our weekends and free time full of activities. Just last weekend we went Tubing on the Shenandoah River in Virginia. (Week 12) It was Rufus' first time camping and he had a blast swimming on the river. This weekend we attended the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs Baseball Game and saw an awesome display of Fireworks. Today we are going to take out the bicycles and go for a ride. Currently we are attempting to get rid of some outdated, unecessary pieces of furniture. Make way for the new couch and chair set just waiting for us at the store. Looking forward to the next Dr.'s Appointment on the 29th. That's all for now!
