Things we did this weekend

This weekend I left on a school field trip to NYC and Six Flags Great Adventure with the 8th graders from my school.  It was a very busy and exhausting trip but everything went smoothly and I got to ride 2 of the rides at Six Flags Great Adventure.  It was great!  I got home late Saturday night and fell asleep while Eric was talking to me.  How embarrassing!  Saturday Eric took CJ to the FLW Tournament at the National Harbor, they had a lot of fun.  Eric and CJ even got to catch a trout!  Eric said it was super cool to be soo close to the professionals.  Sunday we got up, went to the gym, got our gear ready and we took a ride on the rail trail using our WeeRide for CJ.  He had a blast riding along.  He spent the last half of the trip "steering" the bike and making crashing sounds describing how we were crashing.  What a boy.  After the ride we prepared for the Joint Services Air Show at Andrews Air Force Base.  CJ and Eric really enjoyed watching the Blue Angels perform.  Colin told his story to Grandma and Grandpa Chase with great emotion and excitement describing the events, shared that it was loud-the planes were going to crash-they were fast-and flew upside down.  It was super cute.
