Crohn's and Colitis Day on the Hill

My mother had the opportunity to sign our family up for a day of advocacy on Capitol Hill.  She and my sister came into town and we spent the day visiting the offices of various representatives and senators.  It was a very unique opportunity.  Emilie was a trooper and turned on the charm when we talked about her!  It was great getting to spend some quality time focusing on an issue that effects our family. (My mother, sister and I all have Crohn's)
